fake site be careful
by Barry Jeffries
on October 10, 2012
I have been dealing with www.affordablerx.com since 2004 and have never had a problem. I inadvertently went to the Internet and clicked on what I thought was www.affordablerx.com and ordered my meds. After one month my meds still hadn’t arrived so I called www.affordablerx.com and asked what was happening. They advised that I hadn’t placed an order with them but they had all my info on file. I then looked into my credit card charges only to find that a fake company www.affordable-rx.com was pretending to be www.affordablerx.com they never sent my meds but charged my card anyways. Be careful with the fake website pretending to be www.affordablerx.com they are scammers. www.affordablerx.com is based in Winnipeg the fake site says they’re based in Edmonton but you cannot find them in any pharmacy data base for that province. Beware of www.affordable-rx.com they are scammers.

Be careful of these guys. They say they're in Edmonton but there's no address for them there. They do not have a valid pharmacy license number and are NOT registerred with the Alberta Pharmacists Association or the College of Pharmacists in Alberta. So they are lying and do their business offshore. One of the people in our seniors home had a prescription filled without an Rx and they sent fake meds and overbilled the credit card.
Identifying "safe" pharmacies

Hey Paul,
When looking for a pharmacy online, you should ALWAYS get the following info. 1 - Pharmacy license # 2 - Cross check that number with the local governing body 3 - Pharmacists name, license # 4 - Find out where their brick and mortar building is. I'm personally never satisfied with peoples websites, even when I see they are accredited by other companies, such as Pharmacychecker.com or CIPArx.com, though, with those two, I am more comfortable. suspicious

I've noticed that this site has the same customer service number as a few other sites but I received my first order, from affordable-rx.com promptly as promised now I tried another website which has the same exact customer service number but nothing. I know they must all be from the same company. Btw, my bank charged a foreign transaction fee. Affordable-Rx delivered but now I have problems with this other site, they took my money but no product. So now it makes me skeptical about all the sites that have the same customer service number. Sketchy stuff
